WHY THIS FUND?

✔️If you believe that this crisis is laying bare the injustices of our economy...

✔️If you believe that there is no going back, only forward…

✔️ If you believe we need to build a new system, based on principles of solidarity, mutual aid, and deep democracy...

✔️If you can afford to give away part or all of your $1200 stimulus check...

Then we are asking you to #ShareYourCheck with grassroots groups doing the work of building a new economy who are struggling to stay afloat in this public health and economic crisis.

100% of your Donation Will go towards:

  • Meeting the immediate needs of grassroots groups facing financial instability as a result of COVID-19, through unrestricted, rapid relief grants. Crisis exacerbates inequity. Groups that already lacked access to resources are more likely to feel the impact of this moment.

  • Positioning grassroots groups to meet this moment with bold action. Even in its devastating wake, this crisis is offering a moment of opportunity – things we’ve wanted to do as a movement, that haven't felt possible, may now be possible.

  • Funding grassroots organizing that will move us closer to the vision of the solidarity economy. We are committed to a future we are only now catching a glimpse of -- one where mutual aid is the norm and cooperative systems and practices are in place when we need them most.
